IMPACT KOMMONS hosted a Demo Day for its second cohort in17th May 2021. Most of the selected startups are impact-driven and responds to some environmental and social issues:
Hong Kong-based Green Solution Provider And Green Manufacturer Using Wood Waste. Their mission is to bring innovative concepts to promote material reuse. They mainly focus of wooden boards.
Batik Boutique is an award-winning social enterprise created to disrupt the cycle of poverty in Malaysia. They empower artisans from marginalized communities to produce fair fashion, home goods, and accessories from a traditional Malaysian fabric called batik.
Carbonbase
They are on a mission to bring climate action to everyone’s fingertips. They want to take the best ideas from finance, technology, and policy to drive down our carbon emissions and bring the Paris Agreement into reality.
Rice Robotics
Rice Robotics is a leader in automating the workforce. Their delivery and disinfection robots can navigate, operate elevators, and charge without help.
V Cycle is tackling Hong Kong’s environmental issues on two levels; ecological and social. Their mission is to stop plastic from polluting the environment by educating the public on waste reduction. They aim to keep plastic within the loop by recycling plastics that already exist.
BlueSky Energy Technology
Blue Sky is an innovative company for high-performance buildings. They provide integrated solutions with hardware and software to engage building occupants to proactively manage and optimize the environment for their well-being and resource conservation.
Carbon World
They are providing End-To-End Recycling Services. Through their end-to-end recycling service,
they are able to provide a comprehensive solution for beverage container waste.

China’s First Social Innovation Venture Focusing On Sustainable Material Design.
Rooftop Republic
They build and manage urban farms to transform under-utilised areas into vibrant natural spaces, create sources of nutritious organic food, and engage and empower communities to lead a sustainable lifestyle.
BrighterBins
They develop and provide sensor- and route optimization solutions to waste companies, with a focus on cheap prices, simplicity and flexibility.

REMAKEHUB is a young social enterprise, which provides a circular solution for waste pollution.

Vegware is made from plants using renewable, lower carbon, recycled or reclaimed materials, and designed to be commercially compostable with food waste, where accepted.

Vayyar started with a vision of developing a more effective way of screening for early-stage breast cancer using radio frequency technology. As their technology matured, they created additional solutions in multiple industries.
