Discover the latest 10 startups of the AgriFood Cohort 2020 – Rockstart

Rockstart invests internationally in early stage AgriFood startups, the fund have announced its first 10 investments in september 2019 after the launch of their AgriFood accelration program based in Coqpenhaguen.

These are the main startups of the 2019/2020 Agrifood cohort:

  • Agranimo (Chile & Germany) helps farmers to optimize irrigation and increase yields through micro-climate intelligence tools. It also helps retailers to forecast supply of fresh produce, improving pricing and reducing waste.
  • KrishiHub (India) is is building a technology driven agriculture ecosystem for Indian farmers. Their Technology platform enables farmers to take data-driven decisions to improve yield and market opportunities.
  • Miils (Finland) is a nutrition-based SaaS product that works at the point of purchase and nudges people individually to eat healthier and in a more sustainable way.
  • Nordetect (Denmark) has developed a user-friendly portable device for analyzing biochemicals and optimizing the agrochemicals usage.
  • Beyond Leather Materials (Denmark) produces animal-free leather products and textiles made in sustainable and circular processes.
  • Vultus (Sweden) eliminates waste in farming with satellite-based fertilizer recommendations. With these tools, farmers can reduce their nitrogen fertilizer use by up to 1/3rd and increase their crop yields.
